Robert Johnson's blues

This heavy silence is blowing in my mind.

Blacks clouds are covering my soul ‘cause I can’t tell my heavy secrets.

So much dust in my brain

Too much darkness in my heart

I walked alone along this rocky way.

I sat to this crossroad in the middle of nowhere.

I met there the devil.

Falling in sympathy with him

He gave me a guitar and teach me the blues.

I gave him my soul in change.

I spent all my life to play in town street corner and had success in love affair with a married woman and a whisky bottle.

A dark fire burned me inside and the devil like he promised, came to take my soul for himself.

I came back to this on this crossroad for eternity.

Tonight, you can ever listen to my music. Some ghosts use to blow it in the Mississippi Delta.

Be careful if you walk on the riverbank, the devil is never far and look lost souls to make them good musicians.
